Very good ice cream real fruit delicious

Workers seem rude. There is no peanut butter, the blizzard selection is terrible. There were ants on the counter, it looks dirty. We are normally regulars and spend lots of money. Not this year. If you just want a cone then it's prob ok (& if you can overlook the ants).

I came, not knowing this Dairy Queen did not serve food, and asked about purchasing a burger. The young lady working loudly and rudely explained to me that this Dairy Queen does not nor has it ever served food. Moving on I went to order my blizzard, and upon my inquiry of butterscotch she once again raised her voice and rudely told me this DQ only has hard butterscotch. Both of these issues would’ve been completely been fine by me if this young lady had not been so rude about these matters. Also I’m pretty sure I witnessed an employee smoking inside the building, 👎. However my blizzard was pretty tasty, and I might be back again, hopefully next time I’m in town the customer service will be better.

Love this tiny little Dairy Queen!! They always have good options. I have been going here for years now to get my ice cream fix!

Great ice cream!

They were slow. Machine problems. The 2 girls there were laughing as they trying their best to deal with it. No public bathrooms. A bummer. They did apologize at the end for the wait on our blizzards. They were delicious.

Delicious. Waffle cone made while we waited.

Be better if the teenagers that were working didn't all go in the back to look at a friend's phone while there were 5 orders waiting to be filled! Stood there for 5 minutes or more before they all came back, no supervision and there was a line of customers waiting to give their orders.

Looking for a blizzard, this is the DQ to get it from. They always flip the cup over :). Soft serve is good, not Mister Goodies, but good. Only issue is the way the lot is set up with traffic sometimes getting confusing

Better than any other dq if u just want ice cream

This is more than a dairy queen. It's two buildings... The DQ is only open in the summer (maybe May to September) and serves only ice cream like stuff... Cones, banana splits, blizzards, milkshakes, etc. The DQ is drive away or outside seating only. NEXT to it (same parking lot) is the other half, called Bob and Cheryl's Rainbow Drive In. That in and of itself is two restaurants... One side is an Italian buffet (sorry, never eaten there) and the other side is a regular drive in kinda joint, open long lunch hours (like 11 to 6). They serve burgers and fries, foot longs, chili. No alcohol. Service is fast and friendly. Food isn't exceptional but beats the chains and it's kind of a cool old place so worth bypassing burger royalty or big yellow arched Scottish American chains for. CASH ONLY. Not a trendy place but has inside seating. You can get a foot long with chili and onions and then walk next door and get a DQ Blizzard and you'll be satisfied and your cardiologist will hate you.

We've frequented this place several times a year for the past few years and for the most part have always been satisfied. However, I will not return after a few recent occurrences that have transpired. Most recently, we arrived around 9PM and folks were standing around enjoying their treats. We walk up to the window, the girl at the register looks at us and walks in to the back...not a word is said. We wait about 10 minutes and another girl comes to the window to tell us that they decided to close early. The posted hours are until 10PM this time of year. Obviously the decision to close just happened, as I said the other patrons were still enjoying their treats. I understand it's their business and they can close at their leisure, but they should have the decency to communicate this when someone approaches. Very poor customer service.

this location only says ice cream however its a cozy old timey feel walking up to the window. The employee also validated a coupon that was not otherwise taken by a franchised Dairy Queen.

Always friendly service. This place has been here since I was a kid and since my parents were kids. A great family place!

The DQ in Bedford Va I'd the best DQ in the US and believe me I have been to alot of them. I don't know if is because of the milk they use from those Va cows but it is especially creamy and flavorful..

I've always enjoyed DQ and this place didn't let us down. The ice cream was what you'd expect, especially because it was a super hot day, it hit the spot. But, the service was where this location stood out. Guy was by himself, but kept things rolling and was very polite. Definitely worth going back to.

The best little place. And it has the best service!

Old fashioned dairy queen, way better than the ones that are new and look fancy. Waffle cones made fresh for you. Had their "summer berry cheesecake" flavor, and it was so good. Lots of real berries, not just flavoring, and big chunks of cheesecake. We will be stopping here again for summer treats!

Dairy Queen is my favorite place to get food and ice cream.

The employees seem to struggle when making the waffle cone. I've had it undercooked, very soft. Also very thin, ice cream leaking thru. The chocolate to dip a waffle cone in is transparent.
